The internet has transformed the way we undertake research, however, there is much more that can be done in the scholarly publishing arena to make the most of the web as a medium for content delivery. Using GSE Research as a case study this presentation will discuss opportunities to deliver authoritative content in new and novel ways – where the user and community at large drive digital strategy rather than the traditional content containers we are used to. New developments in the areas of semantic enrichment, search and discovery are important elements in overcoming the challenges of an exploding information economy; where information overload is the norm and visibility via the right discovery routes is paramount to reaching and engaging with your audience.
